Nickelback needs time off?
“I think Chad needs a break,” Kroeger said. “Right now, I’m really interested in enjoying where I’m at in life. I don’t ever want to look back on this and go, ‘Geez, when I was 29 and we were having such a ball, why didn’t I just take off to some island somewhere and grow a beard and lay low?’ I’m having a blast right now touring and making music, and I don’t ever want to be standing onstage going, ‘God, I hate this f—ing song. What am I doing here?’ So I’m gonna take a break for a while so I can come back and appreciate it all over again.”
From the lips of the singer himself they did work hard this year to promote all their music and what not concert after concert, they have done well. Even the rich need a vacation right. I mean from all the shopping and what not. I am not being sarcastic really. But you have to hand it to the band for such a wonderful summer. They are expected to finish touring around Sept4 2007 on wich Chad plans to go away for a whil, I mean he needs it after he did have a cliff built in his yard by the pool on wich i might add he had this huge cliff diving party (not to mention onof his guess broke his nose hitting the bottom of the pool at the shallow end) but no legal action was pursuid.
I suppose it is hard to stand there in front of thousands of fans singing and comming up with new stuff on a daily basis. But, I do hope they know how lucky they are fro having what they do have. I mean if it was not for us loyal fans Nickelback would not have made one dime off their success. One word remember where you are from guys, and remember to apreciate your fans. Wich i am sure they have no problem doing. Not bad for ppl from Hanna Alberta.
”"Chad Kroeger: We thought about when we were selling 5,000 copies of our record a week last year, when all we wanted to do was start selling 150,000 records a week, right. And now that we’re doing it, we don’t even think about it, all we ever think about is time off! I think we’d almost give up one week’s sales for one week off. Give up 100,000 records just to go to Hawaii”"
Way to go guys keep up the good music.
